Sandoz and the SME Union of the European People's Party hosted a symposium in Brussels
On January 25, 2005, Sandoz and the SME UNION of the European People's Party in Brussels hosted a symposium in the European Parliament in Brussels to discuss the issue of Biogenerics within the context of the Lisbon Agenda. Sandoz CEO Andreas Rummelt, EU Commissioner Janez Potocnik and EU Commissioner Jan Figel, engaged in a vital discussion of issues ranging from cluster cooperations in the Biotech sector, to the brain-drain and the creation of new technology platforms for R&D. The meeting was attended by high-level EU Commission staff, numerous MEPs and a variety of stake-holders.
